Official authorization-code OAuth and resumable uploads. Enable YouTube Data API v3, configure consent and test users, and use the published app URL as the exact redirect URI.

One-time security setup

Enable Functions and Authentication in Add-ons. Add a strong random STUDIO_TOKEN_SECRET (at least 32 characters) in server Secrets. This encrypts account-bound OAuth credentials and signs generation task handles. Tokens can only be decrypted in server functions. Google access and refresh tokens are never exposed as plain text to the browser.

Project metadata uses the built-in user-scoped key-value store when enabled; otherwise it stays in this browser. Imported media stays in this device’s IndexedDB. Local media does not sync between devices.

Honest capability limits

720p is the native generation target; 1080p export is local upscaling, not native extra detail.
Export normalizes clips to 24 fps. No 4K, 8K, or 60 fps generation is claimed.
No automatic lip synchronization, word-level caption alignment, or AI-generated music / effects in this build.
Original licensed background audio can be imported. Review AI anatomy for accuracy.
Large local MP4 exports need memory; desktop browsers are recommended.
Configured does not mean tested. Make a short paid render and a private YouTube upload before production use.
